It's Almost A Year

Helloooo there everyoneeee!
So last Saturday was the briefing for all the CNOS3 contestants, and I was so excited to meet some of them for lunch, together with Huixin of course! :D

I really enjoyed meeting some of the contestants from CNOS this year, and I could sense the intense thirst of winning the competition, but nevertheless, they were all friendly competitors la! Hahahaha!

So after lunch, we walked around Scape and shop a little bit. In midst, we also took a oscarselfie inspired... SELFIE!!!

So yeap! This year's CNOS is definitely alot tougher than the previous, more challenging and also more brain cells needed! Hahaha!

I'm so excited for the finals already! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the contestants videos and blogpost! All the best aites!!!! ^.^y

Strictly Pancakes x Charlie Brown Cafe

[Sunday, 16th March 2014]

Met up with Andy and Joyce for lunch at Strictly Pancakes cuz Andy was craving for it, so yeah! Was supposed to be meeting at 2pm, but end up we're all late! Hahaha!

MY KIND OF SUNDAY ♥

I ordered Chicken A'La King, Andy had "What A Spread", and Joyce had The Druggie. We also ordered sides like Wedges and Chic Wings!!!

I really like the Chic Wings and the sauce that comes with it!!! Abit sour and spicy!!! ♥ IT!!!

HERE'S A #OOTD

Walked around town (again) and after much consideration, we settled our dinner at Charlie Brown Cafe at Cineleisure.
Both me and Joyce had their Crispy Chicken Salad, and Andy had Hawaiian Pizza.

America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 Spoiler

[HUGE SPOILER ALERT]

Well you've heard me. Seeing from the title, this means spoiler for the upcoming America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 that is yet to be aired on television.

According to spoilers, their travel destination for this season is.....



I think partly is because of the rising trend in the Korean wave. Seems like ANTM is also moving to that as well. As seen from their official facebook page, one of their latest photoshoot is for the brand MCM.

There's also a recent spoiler spotted that the top 7 finalists are doing a group dance, and the judges is Korean Pop Band BTOB. Who would have thought that any of the Kpop group would be in a show like ANTM?!!!

Well this seems interesting, and I'm really excited for this seasons installment already!!!

Here's the spoiler for the dance video.

First group (3 people) there's Shei, Adam, and Keith. As for the 2nd group (4 people), I can only see Will and Chantelle The other 2 I think is Lenox and Raelia. So yeap! These are the confirmed top 7 of ANTM Cycle 21! This is a really huge spoiler!

I'm so happy that Shei and Adam are still in the competition!!! Woohooo!

Wrap & Unwrap The Good Times

HELLO THERE EVERYONE! :D

Have you guys ever been in a terrible situation or even unfinished things that you just want to wrap it up??? Today, I'll be sharing with you guys 3  things that I've yet to achieve/complete that I want to wrap it up.

So without further ado, lets begin wrapping!!!

1. Performing For People
Since young, I've always wanted to be a performer/singer, and I'm glad I was given the opportunity. Back when I was still studying in ITE for my last semester, I was given the opportunity to perform for the old folks at Sarah Home. Seeing the smile on their faces is definitely heart warming.


Eventhough my singing wasn't VERY fantastic, but I'm glad that I'm able to put a smile on their faces. We have to start everything from small right?? So I guess it all starts with this?

So I'm hoping one day, I'll be able to wrap this up by performing on a big stage for everybody, and not just for the old folks. ^.^


2. Having My Mom & Dad To Witness My Graduation
I'm not the smartest kid around, Talk about my studies I'm definitely not your A grade kind of student. Throughout my years of study, I'm really thankful for what my Mom and Dad has given to me. Their time and effort, their selflessness towards their one and only son...

When my Mom heard that I'll be wearing the graduation gown for my graduation in ITE, she was thrilled, and she wanted to be there, watching me receiving my certificate. But sadly, my Dad was working and he couldn't make it...


Now that I've successfully graduated from ITE, and I'm currently pursuing my diploma at Temasek Polytechnic. I hope to wrap this up by completing my course successfully, and have both my Mom and Dad present at my Polytechnic graduation ceremony, witnessing me receiving my diploma certificate.


3. To Be A Part Of The Amazing Race
I know this sounds crazy! But I've always wanted to take part in some reality TV show like America's Next Top Model, The Amazing Race, or even MasterChef (Eventhough I can't cook for nuts)...

Just so it happens that a few days ago, I was tweeting to my BBF!!! Saying that 5years ago, we both did agreed that WE WILL take part in The Amazing Race! Just that we don't know when it will be!!! Hahahaha!



So probably when time to come, I would like to wrap this up by taking part in The Amazing Race with my BBF!!! I would love to travel around the world with her!!! Doing crazy tasks and meeting different people from all around the world!!!

My Experience At Changi YumCha Restaurant

[Food Review]

YumCha restaurant is located inside this building (left photo), it's near this red building over here. (right photo)

We had quite a difficulty looking for the restaurant as it's located at a corner. But nevertheless, thanks to Damien (UncleTehPeng) good sense of direction, we manage to find it! Hahaha!



Ambiance of the restaurant is good. To be honest, I've never been to any Yum Cha restaurant before. The one located at Changi Business Park just open recently, and I heard from my friends that this restaurant's concept at  is slightly different as compared to the one at Chinatown.

FIRST UP ON THE MENU

I really really like the custard bun! So awesome! It's best served and eaten while its hot! Peeled open the custard bun and the filling flows out like there's no tomorrow! Hahaha!



Did you know at the Changi outlet, you can place your order using the iPad?! Super awesome! Me and Damien loved the custard bun so much we ordered more of it! Hahaha!

NEXT UP ON THE MENU

Prawn & Mango Sesame Fritter
Love the combination of prawn and mango, and this is the first time I had mango served hot. The sesame fritters gave it an extra "something" to it!

I'm allergic to seafood but to my surprise, I didn't have any allergies acting up when I had that, so yea! PLUS POINTS!!!

Baked Mini Tarts
Nothing really special, but, egg tarts makes me happy, at YumCha, it comes in bite sized! ♥

Crispy Red Bean Paste with Banana
Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, the first bite will taste like red bean and then banana thereafter. I don't know, maybe its just me. I love everything that is fried and crispy! Hahaha!

Crispy Vegetable Spring Roll
Its super crispy on the outside and the vegetables wrapped inside is not those soggy soggy kind like you buy from elsewhere.

AS FOR THE MAIN COURSE

We had century egg and pork congee, and beef brisket noodle. For everyone who loves beef, you should try the beef brisket noodles. For me, I didn't like it alot because the taste of the beef from the soup is too strong. But the beef is very tender though...



For desserts, we had a few but my personal favorites would be the Pomelo Sago in Mango Juice, and Chinese Herbal Jelly.

Donn & The 5 Girls

[Saturday, 15th March 2014]

Met up with ma' girls to celebrate Mellysa's birthday in advance. I still can't believe how we all became friends, cuz I didn't expect to have any REAL friends in Polytechnic. (Que's ANTM; I'm not here to make friends!!!)



SO ANYWAYS!
We were supposed to be meeting at 11;45am but end up some of us were late. Teehee! Luckily Jiayu managed to reserve seats in advance!!! YAY US!

Actually it was supposed to be a surprise for Mellysa, but..... HAHAAHAH! One of us let the cat out of the bag!!!

Waited for everyone to come and off we go to get our fooooooood~~~



Look at the amount of food that we have on our table! Featuring Jiayu the glutton! Hahahaah!

So after we had our filling buffet, we then ask Mellysa to follow some of us to get Ice-Cream, fruits and etc for all of us. (ACTUALLY WE END UP NOT EATING MOST OF IT CAUSE WE'RE ALL REALLY REALLY FULL)

And when Mellysa came back, we surprise her with the cupcakes that we've been trying to hide from her sight from the moment she stepped into the restaurant! Hahaha!



Took one last photo (on the escalator) before Celeste left off as she's not feeling too good. I think it's time to have a group/band name for ourselves (this clique) already, and I've thought of a name liao, lets call ourselves *Donn & The NINETYFIVES*!!! Or maybe *Donn & The 5 GIrls*??!!! Sounds good yea???



P/S: Sometimes I can't help but to feel impressed with my capability to take selfies at anywhere and everywhere! Hahaha!

After that, we went around town shopping, and Mooi Suen had to left early for "family meeting" so left with Me, Mellysa, Jiayu and ThatAppleCandies.

Initially we wanted to catch a movie, but then its only left with the 1st row, so nope!!! We went on shopping instead, and after that we chilled at Coffee Bean. ♥ their Mocha Ice blend.

Went around shopping after we've rested enough. Took train to Dhoby Ghaut and had 4 fingers for dinner. At that point, I can feel my throat screaming for help!!! (Cause I was already feeling a tad unwell...)



So the day ended, and I was walking to the bus stop, and guess who I saw???? MY LONG LOST BBF!!! ♥

Purple X Grey

Hello Everyone! ^.^y
Recently, my friends have been telling me that my blackroots have grown OUTRAGEOUSLY obvious, and due to school and exams, I don't really have any time to get my hair fixed...

Bleached away my blackroots first before I could dye any color, I was deciding whether to dye striking pink or purple, but since I already did pink on my previous visit, so I chose purple instead. Hahah!!!



Josie (The Hairstylist) recommended some of the colors that I could match with purple because I don't want my whole head to be just 1 colour!!! So she gave me some recommendation, and after much discussion and consideration, I decided to go with purple base and grey highlights. Hahah!

HERE'S THE END RESULTS!!!

PRETTY?!!! 

I really like it leh!!!! The gradient and stuff, Josie never fails to make my hair so awesome!!! Hahaha!
and stupid me have little knowledge about hair, I washed my hair before I visited the salon, so yea. The bleaching hurts slightly more than the previous time. But Josie did applied something (I forgot what is it called already), which help reduce the damage of my hair scalp.
