YAY! It's day 5 of my Taiwan Travelogue already!!! AND ITS ALSO MY BIRTHDAY! WOOT WOOTS!
Thank you guys for all the wishes! I really appreciate it! :D
SO ANYWAYS!
Its the same routine, just that today I felt a little bit happier I guess? Hahaha!!
Had a slight change in out itinerary. Went to Hello Kitty Cafe, and another night market that was nearer to Taipei 101 instead of Shida Night Market. So lets begin day 5 of our Taipei Trip. :D
Breakfast at World of Curry! I think we had curry for almost all our breakfasts! Hahaha!
OMU CURRY RICE
After our breakfast, we walked around Xi Men Ting (again) and then we took the metro to Zhong Xing Fuxiao Station, we booked the Hello Kitty Cafe 2 days before, yeap and its HIGHLY recommended that you book in advance, because usually they won't have any seats available.
Here's the way on how to get to Hello Kitty Cafe
Once you reach Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, Exit through Exit 3. There's a huge shopping mall directly across it. Its hidden in a alley.
I WAS SO STOKED UPON REACHING! LIKE, I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M FINALLY HERE!!!
HAHAHA!
Everything was in pink! Hahaha! Like girly and pink! Hello Kitty lovers will definitely go crazy over this place!
It's even more amazing the moment we stepped into the cafe! Everything was so KAWAII!!! It felt so surreal!!!
After confirming our reservation, they then led us to our seats. Even the seats are in Hello Kitty!!!
Come to think of it, the time that we reserved is only for Tea Time, and only cakes and sweets are served and their drinks of course. Furthermore, we're only given 45min - 1hour to consume our food. Kinda rush I feel.
Even the menu is in Hello Kitty! I'm dying!!!
Now my worst fear has come! The menu is all in Chinese! If you guys haven't read the Day 1 - Day 4. I'm really bad in my Mandarin! I can die trying to figure out which word is which. So yea. I had to depend on my friends to translate it for me. LOLOLOL!!!
Once you ordered something, that comes in a sort of package. Minimum spending of 400 NTD which is around $20 SGD per person. When you've made your order, it comes with the sweets that you've ordered, a complimentary pudding, and a drink (varies with the prices). The waitress will explain to you if its your first time there. They're more than willing to do it :D
INSTAGRAM WORTHY PHOTO!
HAHA!
Now here's the sweets that we have ordered! :D
All looking super cute and TOOO cute to be eaten!!!
After having our sinful sweets! We then check out their toilets! Hahah! Obviously I can't go into the ladies. So I just went checking the gents. Its rather "NORMAL" compared to the ladies because they still provide seating areas inside the ladies as for the gents its just "MEH"...
Only manage to get this for the ladies!
T.T
AND NOW ITS THE BOYS TOILET!!!
I don't even know why they put "Hungry?" in the toilet. Doesn't make sense....
AFTER THEN
Its time to bid goodbye and head to Taipei 101. We didn't go up, just walked around the shopping mall inside. Hehe!!!
Trying to figure out our way to Taipei 101. We're kinda lost at that point of time. Hahaha!
WALKED, AND WALKED, AND WALKED~~~~
SAW SOMETHING TALL! AND THERE IT IS! TAIPEI 101!
AND FINALLY! TAIPEI 101!
We didn't go all the way up though, feel that its a waste of money adding on, there's some tour group over there and the crowd was insane, so we just past.
But we walked around the supermarket and saw quite a number of stuff that Singapore don't sell though. My friend bought alot of "Mian Bao Chao Ren" snacks! Hahaha! It came in handy while we're on our way back to Singapore! Hahaha!!!
All of those you've seen above are either chocolates or biscuits. But is in those cartoon/anime characters packaging la! Hahah!
THEN ON TO OUR NEXT DESTINATION!
Initially we're going to Shida Night Market, but because this other night market is nearer and more convenient, so why not right? Hahaha!
And this night market is called Linjiang Street Night Market (also known as Tonghua Night Market).
Many are familiar with Shilin, Shida and Raohe night markets but not Linjiang. So yeap, Its located near Taipei 101 at some residential area in Da An District.
AFTER MUCH WALKING
We settled our dinner at some sheltered restaurant. Not exactly restaurant but slightly lower class.
But their food is awesomely cheap and good! What's more my friend has been craving for beef noodles ever since he came here! Hahah!!
Now to end off this post with a face of mine! Hahaha!
Ended day 5 with supper again! We had KFC! DAMN! :/ #ReasonsWhyImGrowingFat
